This case study showcases how effective digital marketing strategies were used to generate verified leads for turnkey wastewater treatment solutions, focusing on Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP). The goal was to promote innovative wastewater treatment solutions for industrial and domestic use while catering to both maintenance and new project requirements.

Targets / Objectives

The primary objective was to generate 100 verified leads for ETP and STP services. The strategy needed to ensure that only the prime locations within Maharashtra were targeted for maximum efficiency and relevance.

 

Challenges

  • Targeted Location Restrictions: The campaign needed to avoid targeting the entire state of Maharashtra due to location-specific limitations. Only prime locations were suitable for surveys and service delivery.
  • Cost Optimization: It was crucial to determine which platform (Google Ads or Facebook Ads) would provide a better cost per acquisition (CPA) while delivering high-quality leads.

 

Solution (Marketing Strategy)

A strategic mix of Google Ads and Facebook Ads was implemented to achieve the lead generation goals:

  • Google Ads Campaigns: A targeted search campaign was initially launched on Google Ads, focusing on relevant keywords with significant search volume. This allowed for the capture of highly relevant leads interested in ETP and STP solutions.
  • Facebook Ads Testing: A/B testing with different ad formats, including static creatives, landing pages, and lead generation forms, was conducted. The lead generation forms on Facebook provided comparable lead quality at a lower cost, making Facebook Ads more cost-effective for this project.

Target Customer

The target customers included individuals and businesses aged 35 to 60, seeking wastewater treatment solutions for personal or industrial purposes.

Execution Challenges

  • Platform Comparison: The first 20 days focused on Google Ads, followed by a switch to Facebook Ads to compare results. Facebook Ads, using lead forms, proved to deliver better cost-efficiency while maintaining lead quality.
  • Decision-Making Process: By testing both platforms, early decisions could be made on which approach yielded better results, leading to the successful acquisition of the first 50 verified leads.
